tired

really, really tired. This isn’t going to be much of a blog. My holiday was cut short by Drea going into the hospital on Dec 24. She’s going to be ok, and that’s great. However she won’t be home until at least Weds. As to why she’s there, earlier this year we found out that she might have lupis. Now we know for sure. It’s not a bad case, and very treatable. For more information on the disease check out Lupus Foundation of America.

Any hoo, if you’ve e-mailed me recently and I haven’t gotten back to you, I will, I promise. But right now my mind and my attention is, understandably, in another place.

on the road

I should be on the road right now. Instead I’m at work. Wasn’t supposed to be here. Shouldn’t be here, but something came up with the project and I need to get it fixed stat. So here I am. Sigh! I’ll post when I get to Amityville.

gifts

Yet another things I’m really behind on. I’ve been getting shopping done, but not fast enough. And suddenly lots of gifts have appeared on my desk from friends. So I kinda feel like a sucka. Check that, I do feel like a sucka. * sigh*

back in black

woo hoo… comments are working again. and all this time I just figured no one loved me. thanks to heather for pointing out the problem. Its amazing how much a blog can be linked to mindset. For the last two weeks or so (or however long the comments have been down) I really have felt like no one is out there. Which I think only made my mood worse at times. It’s stupid and I admit really egocentric to think that every post deserves a comment. I’m guilty as charged. It’s amazing how used you get to having people comment on your thoughts (for better or worse). Oh well, just chalk that up as yet another thing I’d love to study about the internet if I ever get the time.

rubbery goodness

ok… my prediction is that these guys are going to be the next big thing: Kaiju: Big Battels. It’s a boston based group that… screw it, here’s the best way to describe it:

Pro Wrestling

+ Japanese Monster movies (gozilla, gamara)

+ Gwar

pure enjoyment for the fans.

The fellow on the right is Kung Fu Chicken Noodle

Type: Unfriendliest rogue consomme

Height: 100 meters

Weight: 120 fluid tons

Attack: Kickin’ noodle stance, chicken bone choke, steam roller

MSG Count: 40%

Tag Line: Mmm Mmm Bad!

Win/Lose: 2/7

You also have to check out Los Plantanos (AKA The Plantain Twins), trust me, it’s worth it. And if you don’t think its possible to pro wrestle in monster suits, check out the videos. I’ve got to figure out a way to get these guys to Rochester.
